The home's back story is that an air hostess lived in that home before she mysteriously went missing. After Mahek doesn't respond to therapy, Shaan drugs her and takes her to a new home that belongs to his friend. In one of her first sessions, she scares her nephew which becomes a problem for her sister, who lives alone separated from her husband. The film moves a few weeks to show that Mahek is now suffering from agoraphobia that is defined as Fear of places and situations that might cause panic, helplessness or embarrassment. We are told she escapes it in the nick of time but she is discovered in a hapless state by a group of people.
